Who qualifies for EmPower+?
EmPower+ is designed to assist low- and moderate-income New Yorkers in improving their home's energy efficiency. To determine eligibility, several criteria must be met:

Income Verification - Households must fall within the income guidelines set by NYSERDA, typically at or below 60% of the state median income, verified through documents like tax returns or pay stubs.

Qualified Energy Provider - Households must have a qualified Energy Provider (National Grid, NYSEG, or Central Hudson).
